Mother! You Can’t Say That!

I apologise if this offends anyone but it was so cute and funny that I have to share it.

So I’m on the phone to my Mum, shes in England, I’m in America. I’m telling her about the classes I am taking right now and she asks what my first class is, here’s how it went.

Emily: Oh my first class is English

Mum: Haha…well thats funny shouldn’t you be teaching them that.

Mother you can’t say that!

    English class
    So how did the 1st class go? Was it interesting? Are your classes to do with language or literature. I believe you have a certificate qualifying you to teach english as a second language. You seem to be doing things around the wrong way? I hope your homework wasn’t too hard.
