Spot of tea anyone?
Come to the quaint little town of Wake Forest and enjoy an array of splendid teas at The Olde English Tea Rooms. It’ll feel like stepping over the border onto British land. Emily is now a waitress at this heavenly hideaway and would be happy to serve you with scones and afternoon tea. The atmosphere is serene with relaxing music playing in the distance and the scent of fresh tea leaves lingering in the air. Put on a hat and some lovely white gloves and pretend you’ve stepped back into old English traditions. With the tapping of china cups on saucers and the beautiful lace tablecloths you’ll truly believe you are drinking tea with the Queen. Or instead, visit the website and see a small glimpse for yourself.

Olde English Tea Rooms I have just looked at the website for the above. I liked the picture gallery. It looks an old traditional building just like the ones in Georgian Bath, very suitable for a tea rooms. I looked at About Us and for the Map but there was nothing there. I wonder if Miss Manners will be making an appearance this weekend. I would be ordering my Earl Grey tea, scones, strawberry jam and devonshire cream if I could be there in the twinkling of an eye.Keep up the good service with a smile.
tea room and chili I checked out the Olde English Tea Room website. It looks really neat–I can't wait to visit, hopefully we will have a free weekend soon to make the trip. I heard NC got some snow, hope you kept warm and dry. I just made a pot of chili, would love to have you both here to share it. Miss you, Mom
