The Lost Tomb of Jesus at a Loss
There’s tremendous hype surrounding the so-called Jesus Family Tomb for one simple reason: if the bones of Jesus are contained therein, Christianity is false. Christianity lives because Jesus died and lives.
If you find your faith shaken by the “discoveries” reported by the makers of the documentary and the possibility that this could be true, I would direct you to the following links which have drafted winsome and scholarly responses:
- Asking the Experts About Jesus’ Lost Tomb by Pulpit Magazine
- Darrel Bock and Bart Ehrman Agree by DennyBurk.com
- ‘Lost Tomb of Jesus’ Claim Called a Stunt by The Washington Post
- Ten Reasons Why Jesus Tomb Claim is Bogus by DakotaVoice.com
- The Jesus Tomb Hoax by same name

The resounding consensus seems to be that “no reputable scholar (Christian or non-Christian) wants to attribute any credibility to the ideas put forth in James Cameron’s forthcoming documentary ‘The Lost Tomb of Jesus’” (DennyBurk.com).
My conclusion: Jesus lives!
