It’s a Girl
This morning we had our second ultrasound at the doctors. The detail of the ultrasound at 17 weeks was absolutely astounding: the baby was doing somersaults, flitting arms and legs, opening and closing the mouth, and showed a strong heartbeat at 143 bpm (beats per minute). Emily and I were both relieved to see such an active little, 7oz. baby having such a jolly little time in Emily’s belly. Praise God!
Then came the moment when the ultrasound technician asked us if we wanted to know the sex.
“Yes, please!”
It’s a girl!
