Sleepy Heads
Seeing as Drew has to get up every morning to go to work I feel like it’s fair that I wake up with Poppy during the night. She usually wakes up around 1-1.30 then again around 3 and finally around 6ish. After that time, she usually stirs going in and out of sleep, chatting to herself and just generally being kinda noisey but not really crying as such. So as Drew is more of a morning person he will wake up sometime between 6-7 and hang out with Poppy as he potters around on his laptop. Sometimes, however, he still wants to get a few more Z’s in before finally getting up so he will pick Poppy up and bring her into bed with us.
Well, the other morning I woke up to the sweetest sight. Poppy was lying next to Drew with only her diaper on, wrapped in our bed sheets and snuggled under Drew’s arm. She was lying on her side and her little arms just looked so cute! I had to run downstairs and grab the camera to capture this sweet sight. I wanted to get Drew in the photo too but he didn’t like that idea.

Don't tell Drew, but more people read my blog posts than his!
