Yesterday we said goodbye to the Byrd family in the morning and had the whole rest of the day to do something, so after Poppy’s morning nap we headed in to Raleigh to check out the Marble Museum and it blew our minds, it was soooooo good. (Mum you would LOVE to take your Whitefield kids there). We wondered if Poppy would be too small but she really wasn’t, she loved the freedom to walk around and play with anything, she crawled into the play vehicles and loved driving, she allowed me to dress her up as a doctor and she enjoyed watching the other kids and got so excited. The only thing about her being so small was that she got tired pretty fast so we didn’t end up making the most of all the areas. But the museum itself was amazing and I think we’ll probably take her back there next year when she can last a bit longer. You really could stay there the whole day, there was so much to do and play with. You’ll see a little of what it was like in the photos but there really is so much more. Can’t wait to go back there.

What a wonderful place. So much to do and see. Is it new? I should love to go there. Poppy looked as though she had a great time. I wish I could just lay down on the floor when I have had enough!
