Pretty Ice, Nasty Ditch!
Theres this ditch down the side of our house and when it rains heavily it fills right up and threatens to flood. In fact once it did, only due to the fact that the accumulation of leaves were blocking the flow and everywhere pretty much flooded, the road, the field across the road, our driveway. So now every time it rains heavily I’m always nervous that we’re going to look out the window and see the Taurus stranded in the middle of the grave yard (which is behind our house). Well today we go outside and find this pretty pattern created by the frozen water in this ditch. I had to take a photo of course. The only time I’ll ever be excited about this ditch!!! Click on the photos to enlarge them and see the ice better.
