Tonight to beat the heat I put Poppy in her little poonum pool on the front porch. She loved trying to grasp at the water I poured out of her little pale. There should be a video forthcoming, but after her swim, she came in for dinner–never eat before swimming!–and enjoyed a nice meal of mac and cheese and applesauce and then promptly faded away into a precious postprandial snooze. She’s not naked, just down to her diaper. I think I’ll let her have a good snooze.

Poppy Poppet you look as though you’re having a nice nap but I really think it’s time you woke up and played peek-a-boo, or had a swing on the swing or a paddle in the pool or a ride on the bike, too much sleeping can be a bit boring!
