The Not So Ugly Duckling
Poppy would have walked straight into the pond and swum with the ducks had we not restrained her. The ducks are pretty tame and cultured at Duke Gardens. I don’t think they would’ve minded swimming with the not so ugly duckling.

I like how Emily let me walk around all day with Poppy’s name sticker from church stuck to my leg.
At 1:25 does anyone else actually hear Poppy say duck faintly or is it just me?
I’m so glad Poppy is going to like watching birds. I look forward to some future forest walks. I wish I could introduce Poppy to my 2 pet chameleons, they are so funny but I might have to let them go as it’s difficult catching flies for them!
What’s happened! Everything has turned pink. Is this Poppy’s influence. I’m not sure about it yet. I was used to the other look. Trust all is well with everyone.
