Turnberrying
Each Sunday evening I lead a Bible study at a local old folks home in Wake Forest. They know they’re old folks, so I think I can affectionately call their apartment building an old folks home. The Sundays Emily works Poppy comes along with me to visit the precious saints as we study the Gospel of Matthew. I thought it’d be cute to capture a little video of all of us horsing around. I captured a really cute video of Poppy initiating and playing peek-a-boo and then realized that I hadn’t actually pushed record on my phone! Bummer! This video I managed to get isn’t as nice as the phone I thought I was recording but it should give you a sense of the place and a glimpse into the fun we have there. Note the southern accents.
We're Drew and Emily Maust, a linguist and nurse preparing to serve with Wycliffe Bible Translators in Cameroon. Read more about us and what we'll be doing. Poppy is two. Henry just arrived.
