  • FAQWhat are you doing? I (Drew) am preparing to serve as a missionary linguist in Bible translation projects by helping Africans translate the Bible into their own language for the first time. Emily plans to use her Registered Nurse training and experience as opportunity arises. With what organization? In August we joined Wycliffe Bible Translators. Wycliffe is an international Christian missions organization whose aim is to see the Bible translated into every language that needs it. Current estimates put the number of languages that may still need a translation of the Bible at just over 2,000. For more on Wycliffe visit wycliffe.org or wycliffe.org.uk. Our passion Our passion is for the Bibleless peoples of the world to be able to enter into the scriptural world through a door the size and shape of their own language so that they might fully know Jesus and make him known. Where are you going? We have been assigned to Cameroon, which is located in west Africa, one of the top three areas of Bible translation need in the world.
