Fall Has Fallen

We’ve been back from new member orientation with Wycliffe Bible Translators since last Saturday and let me tell you there has been a whirlwind of activity around our house ever since. We got back from the Wycliffe headquarters in Orlando early in the morning that Saturday, swung through a grocery store, grabbed some milk (paying for it of course), plopped our stuff down at home, and then it feels like we headed right back out for more. I wouldn’t believe it myself except we have pictures. After driving ten hours from Florida to North Carolina, we only stayed at home for a few hours and then we were itching it get back out and go for a walk. What?!

Our house was in need of some festive fall decorations. To the pumpkin patch we go!

Pumpkin picking proved more leisurely than we had expected so we went on to the park, hoping to expire our last remaining energy. When we arrived, a Wake Forest block party was commencing. Free food!

Next Poppy went for a run.

Smokey the Bear was present reminding us that only we can prevent forest fires, however, Poppy wanted to remind him that large plush animals are creepy.

Stay tuned for Fall Has Fallen Part 2. You can view all our Pumpkin Patch photos here and our pictures from Orlando here and here.
