Poppy Can Count to Three

Does she have rhythm or can she count? Aren’t the two related?

Poppy will sit with a toy and bounce the toy in her arms up and down while making the “ah” sound. She gives off a staccato “ah, ah, ah.” When you mimick her or attempt to participate, she cracks up. She’s got rhythm.

Also, if you start lightly pushing on her tummy in threes, she will produce the necessary air to make “ah, ah, ah.” She can count.

I’ve read before that babies can indeed count; they can tell when something is missing or taken away from a set. They are crazy smart.

Well done Poppy, counting 1,2,3, go. How about reading! When your Mummy was small we tried some scheme in a box called, Teach your baby to read, not sure we managed it but we had some fun using words as stepping stones.Keep singing Poppy.
