I haven’t had 5 days off in a row since I started working at the hospital.   Normally I would get to pick the days I work but for the first few weeks you kinda have to get worked in to the schedule where they are short nurses.  So it just so happened that last week I worked Monday Tuesday and Sunday and then this week I was scheduled for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (the person who was doing the scheduling obviously didn’t look back at the previous week).  Anyways, with 5 days off I really didn’t want to be lazy and just let it pass by.   So in my mind I set little projects I would accomplish with this time off.  One of those things was making a clip holder for Poppy’s hair clips.  She has sooo many and I was keeping them in a basket but it was such a mess and frustrating.  I asked my sister to make this really cool one but I knew it would take a while because she is a busy girl, so I thought I would make a cheap one for the time being.  I went to Michaels and bought a wooden frog and found some pieces of ribbon at home.  Don’t be too impressed, I have seen these for sale so many times and always thought to myself, I’m not paying for that because I can make it myself, well finally I did.  I like feeling organised.
