Drawers and Gravel

Today Poppy and I hung out in the morning while Drew went to his Syriac class.  After Poppy’s morning nap she played in her room for a while.  Shes really in to opening and emptying draws right now.  She also crawls around her room getting into anything thats at her level which includes her show collection.  She got some jelly shoes for Easter from Granny C, we’re just waiting for her feet to grow a little bit more before she can wear them, they’ll probably be a perfect fit by the time we go to the beach in the summer.  Then a bit later Poppy and I went and sat outside thinking Drew would arrive home and we’d be outside ready to meet him but actually he took longer than we thought so we played in the gravel and got out Poppy’s new sand toys.  It was a bit windy today, nice and warm in the sun though.

Such cute pictures as usual. I love the very first one and the one where she looks as though she’s hunting for a particular pair of shoes. I like recognizing where she is. Does she really move around now. I haven’t seen this. Some-thing for the next video! Does she try to eat the gravel? It looks a little like her snacks?

Yes she is really on the move now Mum as you can see in that tunnel video. She can go pretty fast when she wants to and I’ve finally gotten her to follow me into the next room instead of sitting up and crying when I leave the room. If I encourage her to come with me then I don’t have to pick her up and she crawls after me, its so cute. She did try and eat the gravel and when I said no she did carried on trying to do it with a cheeky grin on her face. She definitely understands no and definitely knows when shes being a naughty girl!
