Poppy’s Playroom

After Poppy’s Birthday our house was overrun with toys…big toys, and we needed somewhere to keep them all.  Instead of just storing them in our hallway I decided it would be awesome to turn our downstairs spare room into a playroom for Poppy.  The more I thought about it the more it sounded like the perfect plan.  The room was hardly used as a spare bedroom and with it being downstairs Poppy could get to it easily.

So we moved the desk out and rearranged the furniture and then moved all of Poppy’s toys in.  We hung the photo collage (that we’d used at the party) up on the wall and I decorated the tree with ribbon.  The final touch was the bunting I had made for the party.  Poppy loves her playroom.  She plays peek a boo in the house, she climbs on her chairs, she gets in and out of her car and walks with the shopping cart.  We’re trying to make the effort to sit down and read with Poppy more so the day bed works great to snuggle on and read some books.  Take a look.

That looks really nice! The bunting, by the way, was amazing. Did you use a pattern, or make it up yourself?

It looks wonderful. She now has so many toys, enough for a whole family of Mausts!!
