Fort Worth Stockyards

With only just over 2 weeks until my parents return to England we have been thinking of things we wanted to see before they go.  One of them was watching the cattle drive down at the Fort Worth Stockyards.  So here are a few photos of our little trip on Saturday.

Waiting
Sitting on the side of the road still waiting
Still waiting
Perfect time to wear her cowboy boots
Tickling Daddy with her braids
Daddy not finding it too funny and Poppy finding it very funny as usual
Looks like something serious is about to happen
Here they come! The longhorns
Check out them longhorns
Wouldn't want to mess with him
A good reason to keep on the sidewalk
Thankfully they were surrounded

The Fort Worth stockyards are a great place to visit.  Lots of western themed restaurants, a rodeo every Friday night, a few little fun attractions like pony riding, a bucking bronco, petting zoo (maybe just for the summer months) and some adorable little shops with everything western you could thing of.  A great place to walk around and enjoy the atmosphere.

Me and my wife love the Stockyards! I even proposed to her there. It really is a nice place just to go and relax.
