Time For A Good Old Fashioned Vote

I went to the Dr’s yesterday and everything is moving along.  I just really need baby boy to stay put for 4 more days until my parents arrive on Monday afternoon, once they are here he can go at it.  So while we wait I thought we could have a little poll.  The question that’s been on my mind is:

Will baby boy enter the world with as much hair as Poppy did??????

I’m just having these strange images of him needing a hair cut in his first month of life lol.

So in the comment box leave your vote.  And just to remind you (or give you an idea if you didn’t know Poppy as a newborn), I have put some photos below.

Minutes after birth

Aww i hope he has as much hair! My prediction is no though…I had a boy with very little hair and a girl with poppy hair so that’s what i’m basing it on. Hair or no hair he’s going to be beautiful and i can’t wait to see it and maybe meet him one day =)

I do keep thinking about Cosby and how he only had a little bit so it can’t always be predictable. What are the chances that both our girls would have soooo much hair, I remember you always saying you hoped Clover had hair. Shes definitely going to have beautiful curly hair like her Momma.

Wow….as a mother to two baldies, that is some impressive growth! Praying for you in these last few days! Just remember, if he does come early you at least have the option of staying in the hospital for a few days. With Owen, Nathan stayed with me the first night but then went home to be with Eliana. That second night on my own in the hospital was very restful and I’m so glad we did it that way! If you have a sound machine, bring it with you to the hospital. It helped me drown out all the background noise and get a better nights sleep.

Thanks Kim I will remember those tips. I have found myself thinking alot about how Poppy is going to do while we’re at the hospital.

Wow. That is a lot of hair. Looks like the hospital nursery could have trimmed poppy’s hair. I am saying no. Your new one will not have that much hair.

Haircuts should definitely be a service the nursery offers, I’ll leave that in the suggestion box 🙂

I think no. Baby no 2 will be different, but you will see for yourself very shortly.

I don’t know? Both our girls had a lot of hair and Micah had a lot of hair for being 6 weeks early.

When I found out Micah was a boy, I was wondering if he would have hair like his sisters or be bald. Imagining a bald baby was really weird to me since all my other two had tons of it.

    So maybe?

I’m finding it hard imagining a newborn boy with that much hair though, I feel like he will look like a girl, haha! Micah is such a handsome fella, he had the perfect amount of hair. I hope he is doing well.

I’m going to vote for a little bald-headed boy. But if I’m wrong, please don’t be one of those mothers that refuses to cut her little boy’s hair until he’s two (because the little ringlets are just so precious..) So the poor kid has to go around looking like Little Lord Fauntleroy and having everyone tell him what a cute little girl he is.

lol, you always write the best comments Christy! It reminds me of an episode of Toddlers and Tiaras I watched once. They had a little boy in the beauty pageant and he had thick brown hair down to his shoulders and they kept talking about how pretty he looked and how if he was a girl he would win 1st prize. He looked like he should be wearing knee high white socks, shorts, buttoned up shirt, waist coat and bow tie!! Haha.

I say he will have hair but not quite as much as big sis did. I agree, it’s hard to imagine a little boy with that much hair. I was one of those Mom’s that didn’t cut the baby’s hair till 1 year old, the furst haircut was a big deal. Matt had the most of all of ours, gorgeous curls, people did say “what a pretty little girl”! 🙂
