So I have 20 minutes left to write and publish this post until it becomes tomorrow and I break the momentum of our ‘every day in July’ challenge. So here goes.
Today’s weather was absolutely miserable. A good thing for the beautiful flowers of La Motte Servolex because Friday and Saturday were scorchers and I noticed that the flowers were starting to wilt. I have never lived in a town where they took such care of their flower beds. Every couple of months they take up the old flowers and plant spectacular new ones. It’s truly amazing.
Here is a photo from our balcony at 8am this morning. You would never guess that just 2 days before there wasn’t a cloud in the sky and everything looked so bright and summery. It was like this photo every day when we first arrived and they talked about kids getting shots of vitamin D because they didn’t see enough sun. I hope this clears up soon.
But thankfully we were all ready for today thanks to the two Grandma’s!! Memaw kindly provided the lovely rain jackets that Poppy and Henry are wearing and Granny provided the umbrella and wellies that Poppy is holding/wearing. The Grandma’s want to keep their Grand-babies nice and dry 🙂
Ekk 10 minutes……..
So now to talk about Henry turning 10 months old today. He now has 5 teeth! 3 have poked through at the top and 2 on the bottom. He is the best eater in this house. Anytime anyone is eating he comes a-beggin’.
He is soooo kissable, those cheeks just cry out to be kissed. And lucky for me he is definitely a Mummy’s boy right now.
He is a smart little cookie as you may have seen on Facebook with all the walking videos I post. He practices his walking everyday and it’s so so fun to watch. He reminds me of baby animals when they have just been born and try to walk for the first time, all wobbly and all over the place but manage to keep upright somehow.
Happy 10 months old Henry Andrew Maust 🙂
