Once upon a time I thought it would be really fun to learn how to play the guitar. It must have been way back when I had lots of time on my hands 😉

I’ve always liked the sound of acoustic guitars.

I remember thinking it would be a good idea to learn how to play one or two worship songs, just in case I was ever called upon to lead a spontaneous worship time.  lol.

So I borrowed a friends guitar and started teaching myself the basic notes.  Time went by and amoungst my little collection of easy-to-play songs, I found myself playing one song alot more than the rest.   I actually thought I could play it fairly well, haha.  It’s not a worship song I have to admit.  But it’s a song by a singer who I really like.  I’ve even read her biography.

You will laugh so hard, but this song is so much fun to sing and play on the guitar!!

This is party piece number 1.

Last night while laying in bed listening to a French radio station, I heard a song I liked.

Singing in French, now that would be fun!

I looked the singer up on Youtube and found a live acoustic guitar version.  So, if I ever get my hands on a guitar again this will become party piece number 2.
